Young People's Camping in Abbotsford, BC

During the camping trip to the Heinrich’s house, I really enjoyed the message concerning companions. Brother Albert had compared companions as legs to a table. A table cannot stand by itself, because without legs, it is just a piece of wood. However, with legs, we can call this piece of wood a table. Without companions we are just one leg that can easily be tipped over by Satan. With companions, we are held up when in need of help, and much stronger against Satan and his temptations. Besides the message, I really enjoyed Brother Dave and Sister Florence’s hospitality. –SB

I enjoyed the messages about how we need to consecrate ourselves to the Lord daily. I also enjoyed playing games with the brothers and sisters, they were very enjoyable. - by DS

I enjoyed the opportunities to blend with the other saints and how open all the young people were during the special fellowship. - by MT

This blending trip was a wonderful experience as many of the YP and serving ones were able to go. The time spent together with the sisters was a lot of fun, and we got to know each other better. I also appreciated that there was an open home for all the YP to blend and that we can have fun playing games with the sisters. - by JS

"I enjoyed camping with saints as a testimony that the saints are not only for spiritual activities but also for daily living. It is a testimony that we don't need two groups of friends and the teenagers of today can simply have fun with just group games." JT

"I really enjoyed the campfire because it made me see that if we didn't fan the fire, it would die out just like our spirit needing to be fanned into flames and to exercise it. In 2 Timothy 1:6, it says "...fan into flame the gift of God which is in you..." EW
